Amazon runs twenty-two Associates marketplaces, and most countries have no storefront of their own — they are served by a neighbour. Type a country to see which store it goes to, which tag suffix that programme uses, and whether Amazon's own OneLink reaches it.

How to read the last two columns

Tag ends in. Every national programme appends its own two digits to your tracking ID, and you never type them. Treat this column as the shape to expect rather than as your own tag — read yours in that country's Associates Central. Ireland shows a dash because its programme opened in March 2025 and Amazon publishes no ending for it — we would rather leave it blank than guess at a value you would copy. OneLink reaches it. Amazon's own redirect covers 14 of the 22 marketplaces. For the rest, a reader lands wherever your link already pointed unless you carry a tag for that store yourself. The full comparison

How much of this is your problem? This table says where a reader goes. The next question is how many of your readers that actually is — paste your country report into the audience check and it works out which stores your traffic spans and which programmes to join first. Check your own audience

Why this matters

Most countries do not have their own Amazon.

That single fact is behind most of the money international publishers lose without noticing. Austria has no amazon.at. Twelve south-east Asian countries share amazon.sg between them, and seven Gulf states share amazon.ae.

So a reader in Vienna is a customer of the German store, and a link tagged for amazon.com sends them to the wrong continent. They usually do not complain. They buy the thing on the store they already use, with no tag attached, and nothing appears in your reports at all.

  1. Look at where your readers are

    Your analytics knows. Most people are surprised by how much of it is outside their own country.

  2. Find the stores those countries go to

    The table above. Often fewer stores than countries, which makes the job smaller than it looks.

  3. Register in those programmes

    Each one separately, each with its own tracking ID. There is no shortcut and no combined account.

  4. Route each reader to the right one

    Either with OneLink, where it reaches, or with something that holds a tag per store. That is what this plugin does.
